Life moves forward and so does technology. Mobiles have made life much easier and allowed people to communicate literally everywhere. There are times though that you cannot get a signal because maybe a building or object stops the signal. Some buildings are built to stop signals for privacy of businesses. Now one place signals can be weak, or nonexistence is hospitals. Years ago, patients were asked to turn their phones of because it interfered with medical equipment. But technology has changed, and patients and visitors can now use mobiles freely around NHS Hospitals. But because to size and equipment a signal can be hit or miss.
So how could we improve telecommunications for patients only at hospitals that may need some extra support from a charity or organisation but cannot get a signal. So, for patients in NHS establishments, they have access to NHS broadband or Wi-Fi as we know it. Ok it can have its problems but from what people have said to us its good. You can YouTube, message and download. So how about the WhatsApp solution for charities. Required is 1 PC 1 browser and a mobile phone and number. It allows another WhatsApp user to contact a charity or organisation.
It was just a thought because we researched it and up to now found no one after 6pm has it. Nighttime in a NHS hospital for some can make them feel vulnerable. Having contact via wi-fi could just make the difference to call a helpline.
